Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and customer‑focused Sales Associate (SA) to join our fast‑growing retail team. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a vibrant, fast‑paced environment and enjoy direct interaction with customers while supporting account management functions. The successful candidate will serve as a front‑line ambassador for our brand, helping to drive sales, resolve inquiries, and ensure a seamless shopping experience both in‑store and through our digital channels.

The position is full‑time, Monday through Saturday, with regular hours from 08:00 to 17:00. While the role is open to all genders, the current posting emphasizes a female candidate due to specific operational needs. Candidates must be adaptable, physically capable of handling merchandise, and possess a strong desire to grow within the retail industry.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and provide personalized product recommendations.
  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, including stocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring inventory accuracy.
  • Process transactions quickly and accurately using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, handling cash, credit, and digital payments.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales reports, daily cash reconciliations, and inventory audits.
  • Address customer questions, concerns, and complaints with professionalism, escalating complex issues to the store manager when necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with the account support team to update customer records, track order status, and follow up on post‑sale service.
  • Participate in regular training sessions on product knowledge, sales techniques, and health‑and‑safety protocols.
  • Contribute ideas for promotional events, visual merchandising, and upselling strategies to boost store performance.
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and arranging merchandise up to 25 kg, ensuring safety standards are met.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both customers and fellow team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age: Up to 25 years old.
  • Gender: Open to all, with a preference for female candidates as per current operational needs.
  • Physical ability to handle merchandise, lift moderate weights, and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: friendly, patient, and able to communicate clearly in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and quick adaptability to changing store layouts, product lines, and promotional campaigns.
  • Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across sales, inventory, and customer service departments.
  • Prior experience in retail, sales, or customer service is highly advantageous.
  • Basic proficiency with POS systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and familiarity with inventory management software.
  • Commitment to punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
