Responsibilities
- Sort parcels and shipments according to designated delivery zones, customer codes, or carrier requirements, using both visual cues and system prompts.
- Load and unload goods from operational vehicles, ensuring safe handling and proper placement to prevent damage.
- Perform barcode scanning and data entry for each package, maintaining real‑time accuracy in the warehouse management system.
- Arrange sorted items neatly on pallets, shelves, or staging areas, double‑checking for any signs of damage or mislabeling.
- Assist senior supervisors with loading and unloading operations, following precise instructions to meet daily dispatch targets.
- Maintain a tidy, hazard‑free workspace by regularly sweeping, disposing of waste, and organizing tools and equipment.
- Participate in daily briefings to receive updates on priority shipments, safety protocols, and performance metrics.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, inventory discrepancies, or safety concerns to the shift manager promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent (high school level).
- Maximum age: 40 years.
- Male candidates only, as per the specific operational requirements of this position.
- No prior experience required; fresh graduates and career changers are welcome.
- Strong logistical analysis skills, including the ability to interpret sorting codes and delivery routes.
- Basic proficiency with handheld scanning devices and warehouse management software.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 25 kg repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high accuracy rates.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow clear instructions from supervisors.
- Reliability and punctuality, with a willingness to work on weekends and public holidays as needed.
