Introduction

We are seeking a motivated Kasir Penjualan dan Layanan Pelanggan (Cashier Sales & Customer Service Representative) to join our dynamic retail team. In this role you will be the front‑line ambassador of the store, responsible for processing transactions accurately, delivering friendly service, and ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied. This position is pivotal in maintaining the smooth flow of daily operations, supporting inventory control, and upholding the brand’s reputation for reliability and hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system to process cash, credit, and digital payments efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain the cash drawer, perform regular reconciliations, and report any discrepancies according to company policy.
  • Greet customers warmly, answer product‑related questions, and provide guidance on promotions or loyalty programs.
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds while adhering to store procedures and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Identify up‑selling and cross‑selling opportunities, recommending complementary items to increase average transaction value.
  • Collaborate with inventory staff to receive shipments, stock shelves, and perform regular inventory counts.
  • Prepare daily sales reports, track key performance indicators, and communicate insights to the store manager.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including the presentation of promotional materials and signage.
  • Assist in training new cashiers by sharing best practices and demonstrating proper use of the POS system.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, pricing changes, and store policies to answer customer inquiries confidently.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age: Open to candidates of any age, with a maximum limit as defined by local labor regulations.
  • Gender: All genders are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience in a cash handling or retail customer service role.
  • Communication: Strong verbal skills, able to convey information clearly and courteously.
  • Integrity: Honest, dependable, and accountable for handling cash and confidential customer data.
  • Teamwork: Able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and also work independently when required.
  • Stress Management: Comfortable working under pressure during peak hours and handling multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with POS systems, basic computer operations, and cash register procedures.
  • Availability: Willing to work a Monday‑Saturday schedule, 08:00 – 17:00, with flexibility for occasional overtime during promotions or inventory counts.
