Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Ahli Gizi Anak dan Remaja (Child and Adolescent Nutrition Specialist) to join our dynamic team. This full‑time position plays a pivotal role in ensuring that school‑aged children receive safe, nutritionally balanced meals that support their growth, learning, and overall well‑being. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with school administrators, food service staff, and public health officials to design menus that meet national nutrition standards and align with local dietary preferences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and continuously update weekly and monthly meal plans that satisfy the Angka Kecukupan Gizi (AKG) requirements for children aged 6‑18.
  • Conduct large‑scale food‑quantity calculations to guarantee sufficient supply while minimizing waste and controlling costs.
  • Ensure all meals comply with food safety regulations, including proper storage, handling, and kitchen sanitation protocols.
  • Perform pre‑distribution quality checks, such as temperature monitoring, visual inspections, and nutrient verification.
  • Train kitchen personnel on portion control, cooking techniques that preserve micronutrients, and hygiene best practices.
  • Collaborate with school health nurses to monitor students’ nutritional status and adjust menus based on feedback or emerging health trends.
  • Prepare detailed reports for school boards and government agencies documenting menu compliance, budget utilization, and impact assessments.
  • Stay informed about emerging nutrition research, policy updates, and innovative food technologies that could enhance meal quality.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to educate parents and teachers about the importance of balanced diets for children.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, or a related field.
  • Open to candidates of any gender and age; no upper age limit.
  • Zero to several years of professional experience; fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
  • Proven ability to design menus that meet AKG standards and align with local cultural food preferences.
  • Strong analytical skills for large‑scale food budgeting and nutrient calculations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP principles.
  • Excellent communication skills for training kitchen staff and presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in nutrition analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite.
