Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new B2B and B2C customers within the Kendari metropolitan area and surrounding districts.
- Present product specifications, pricing, and promotional offers to potential clients, tailoring solutions to meet their specific construction or home‑appliance needs.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts through regular follow‑ups, after‑sales support, and timely resolution of inquiries.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by implementing effective negotiation strategies and closing deals efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with the logistics, inventory, and technical support teams to ensure accurate order processing and on‑time delivery.
- Prepare detailed sales reports, forecast future demand, and provide market intelligence to senior management.
- Participate in trade shows, product exhibitions, and local networking events to increase brand visibility.
- Continuously update product knowledge, staying informed about new building‑material technologies and home‑appliance trends.
- Support the development of promotional campaigns and assist the marketing department with field feedback.
- Adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and local regulatory requirements, including maintaining a valid SIM C.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (any field of study) from a recognized institution.
- Age: 30 years old or younger at the time of application.
- Gender: Male (as specified by the client’s operational needs).
- At least 1 year of proven sales experience, preferably in retail of building materials or home appliances.
- Strong communication and persuasive selling skills, with the ability to articulate technical product details to non‑technical customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self‑motivated to meet individual targets.
- Goal‑oriented mindset, high energy level, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- Valid SIM C driver’s license and personal transportation for client visits.
- Current domicile in Kendari or willingness to relocate promptly.
- Essential soft skills: negotiation, time management, customer‑service orientation, and resilience under pressure.
