Responsibilities
- Open and close the store according to the established checklist, ensuring security and readiness for customers.
- Monitor inventory levels, receive deliveries, and perform accurate stock counts to prevent shortages or overstock.
- Maintain a tidy and visually appealing store layout, including proper product placement, signage, and cleanliness of all areas.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering questions about product origin, freshness, and pricing.
- Process sales transactions efficiently using the store’s point‑of‑sale system and handle cash, card, and digital payments with precision.
- Support promotional activities, arrange special displays, and ensure promotional pricing is correctly applied.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to execute shift schedules, cover peak hours, and manage unexpected staffing needs.
- Adhere to health, safety, and food‑handling regulations, conducting routine checks of refrigeration units and storage conditions.
- Report any operational issues, equipment malfunctions, or customer feedback to store management promptly.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge, customer service techniques, and store management software.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age limit: Female candidates up to 30 years old; male candidates (if considered) up to 35 years old.
- Gender: Preference for female applicants to match the store’s current staffing policy.
- No prior experience required; fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of retail experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer‑focused attitude.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and occasional evenings.
- Basic proficiency with store management systems and cash handling.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
