Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations, procedures, and surgeries by preparing instruments, materials, and the treatment area.
- Maintain strict infection‑control protocols, including sterilization of dental tools and proper disposal of hazardous waste.
- Record patient histories, vital signs, and treatment notes accurately in the electronic health record system.
- Provide chair‑side support such as suctioning, retracting soft tissues, and delivering instruments promptly.
- Educate patients on post‑treatment care, oral hygiene practices, and preventive strategies.
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient reminders, and follow‑up calls to ensure optimal clinic flow.
- Coordinate with laboratory technicians for prosthetic work, ensuring specimens are correctly labeled and tracked.
- Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and monitoring stock levels to avoid disruptions.
- Participate in regular team meetings, continuing education sessions, and quality‑improvement initiatives.
- Handle emergency situations calmly, following established protocols for patient safety.
Requirements
- Female candidates only, preferably under 30 years of age.
- Minimum education: SMK or D3/D4 in Nursing or a related health‑care field; dental nursing background is a strong advantage.
- At least one (1) year of experience as a dental assistant or nursing professional in a clinical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- Proficiency in basic administrative tasks, including appointment coordination and medical record entry.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts (Shift 1: 10:00‑20:00, Shift 2: 13:00‑20:00) and a flexible schedule.
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and follow instructions accurately.
- Basic computer literacy for using dental software and office applications.
