Responsibilities
- Assist the head chef and senior kitchen staff in preparing, cooking, and plating menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain strict adherence to halal food preparation guidelines, ensuring all ingredients and processes meet religious and regulatory requirements.
- Perform basic cooking tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, preparing sauces, and operating kitchen equipment safely.
- Monitor inventory levels, receive deliveries, and assist in stock rotation to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
- Support the kitchen’s cash handling duties when operating the front‑of‑house cashier station, providing accurate transaction processing and courteous service to female patrons.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, including regular cleaning of workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
- Collaborate with front‑of‑house staff to coordinate order timing, address special dietary requests, and resolve any service issues promptly.
- Participate in daily briefings, contributing ideas for menu improvements, cost‑saving measures, and workflow efficiencies.
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude by identifying potential problems, suggesting solutions, and seeking guidance when needed.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Female candidates only; must be a practicing Muslim who observes regular prayers.
- Maximum age: 30 years.
- Unmarried status preferred.
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food‑service environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong work ethic: diligent, quick‑learning, and able to maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: communicative, team‑oriented, and respectful of cultural and religious norms.
- Basic cooking skills and a genuine interest in culinary arts.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00–17:00, with flexibility for occasional overtime during peak periods.
