Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean all dishes, workstations, cooking equipment, and storage areas in strict accordance with food safety regulations and company hygiene policies.
- Wash, peel, slice, and otherwise prepare raw ingredients, ensuring that each item is ready for cooking or assembly according to the day’s menu.
- Properly store and organize raw materials and prepared items, monitoring temperature controls and rotation methods (FIFO) to prevent spoilage.
- Assist in inventory management by checking stock levels, reporting shortages, and helping to receive and label deliveries.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to sanitation, equipment handling, and safety protocols to minimize risk and maintain compliance.
- Assemble and present customer orders accurately and promptly, ensuring that each plate meets the company’s quality standards.
- Collaborate with chefs, line cooks, and fellow kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow during peak service hours.
- Participate in regular training sessions on food handling, allergen awareness, and workplace safety.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or deviations from SOPs to the kitchen supervisor immediately.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food‑service environment, preferably with exposure to cleaning and basic food preparation.

- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a team and follow detailed instructions.
- Strong understanding of basic food safety principles and willingness to adhere to strict hygiene standards.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.

- Basic cooking skills, including knife handling and ingredient preparation.
