This role is a frontline position that connects prospective borrowers with Amartha’s inclusive lending programs, fostering economic growth and financial inclusion across the region.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new borrowers in the Siak area, presenting Amartha’s loan products and encouraging enrollment in our financial programs.
- Provide ongoing economic counseling and support to existing client households, ensuring they understand repayment schedules, budgeting techniques, and the benefits of continued participation.
- Conduct field surveys and perform detailed feasibility analyses on loan applications, adhering strictly to Amartha’s underwriting policies, risk‑assessment frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive recommendation reports for the credit committee, highlighting borrower strengths, identified risks, and suggested loan terms.
- Facilitate weekly client meetings, track transaction activities, and resolve any operational issues that arise during the loan cycle.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in the company’s CRM system, documenting client interactions, survey findings, and loan outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams—including product development, compliance, and operations—to continuously improve service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Travel regularly across the assigned territories, using personal two‑wheel vehicles to reach remote villages and urban neighborhoods.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree (S1) is a plus.
- Age limit: 28 years for new hires (maximum 35 years for experienced candidates).
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—and the ability to build trustful relationships with borrowers, teammates, and supervisors.
- Possession of a reliable two‑wheel vehicle (motorcycle) for field work.
- Willingness to work on‑site in the field and to be stationed at any Amartha branch across the region.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; candidates with prior experience in micro‑finance, sales, or community outreach are also encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, assess creditworthiness, and make sound recommendations.
