This field‑based role is pivotal in expanding Amartha’s outreach to underserved households, fostering financial inclusion, and supporting the growth of small‑scale entrepreneurs. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between the company’s lending programs and the local community, ensuring that potential borrowers receive the guidance, analysis, and ongoing support they need to succeed.
Location: Ciamis, Point Rancah (field work required daily). Working hours are Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00.
Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new borrower prospects by conducting door‑to‑door outreach, attending local market events, and leveraging community networks to promote Amartha’s capital‑loan programs.
- Provide comprehensive economic counseling to household members, helping them understand budgeting, savings, and repayment strategies that align with their income cycles.
- Perform on‑site surveys and detailed feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring each proposal complies with Amartha’s risk‑assessment framework, regulatory standards, and internal policies.
- Prepare accurate reports and recommendation sheets for the credit‑approval team, highlighting key financial indicators, collateral assessments, and repayment capacity.
- Manage the full collection cycle, from timely reminders and friendly visits to negotiating repayment plans and documenting any delinquencies.
- Maintain up‑to‑date records in the company’s CRM system, tracking interaction history, loan status, and follow‑up actions.
- Collaborate with the regional operations supervisor to share market insights, suggest product enhancements, and participate in quarterly performance reviews.
- Represent Amartha in community meetings, local government forums, and partner events to strengthen brand reputation and build trust.
- Ensure personal safety and compliance with all health and safety protocols while operating in field environments.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; higher education in Business, Economics, or Social Sciences is a plus.
- Age: 18‑30 years (maximum 33 years acceptable for experienced candidates).
- Gender: Open to all genders; female candidates are preferred to align with community outreach needs.
- Experience: Fresh graduates are welcome; prior experience in micro‑finance, sales, or community development is advantageous.
- Transportation: Ownership of a reliable motorbike or car for daily field visits.
