Introduction
DW Housekeeping Supervisor is a pivotal role within our dynamic hospitality team, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction across all properties. The position reports directly to the Housekeeping Manager and works closely with front‑office, maintenance, and food‑service departments to ensure seamless operations. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of housekeeping staff, including room attendants, public area cleaners, and laundry personnel.
- Develop and enforce cleaning schedules, ensuring all guest rooms and common areas meet DW’s stringent quality benchmarks.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms, corridors, and facilities, providing immediate feedback and corrective action when standards are not met.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders and track usage to control costs while preventing shortages.
- Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service best practices.
- Collaborate with front‑desk and maintenance teams to prioritize guest requests, address maintenance issues, and resolve any service disruptions promptly.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on occupancy, staffing levels, and performance metrics for senior management review.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and waste.
- Lead the team during high‑occupancy periods, special events, and emergency situations, maintaining composure under pressure.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a housekeeping or supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong communication skills—able to convey instructions clearly and interact professionally with guests and staff.
- High integrity, honesty, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Capacity to perform well under pressure and manage competing priorities.
