We are seeking a dedicated Guru Pengajar Al‑Qur’an to join our educational team and provide high‑quality Qur’anic instruction for children ranging from beginner to advanced levels. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging Qur’an lessons for elementary and intermediate students, ensuring correct Tajweed and pronunciation.
- Develop weekly lesson plans, instructional materials, and visual aids using graphic‑design software to enhance comprehension.
- Conduct individual and group recitation assessments, providing constructive feedback to improve students’ tilawah skills.
- Coordinate with fellow teachers to integrate Qur’anic studies into broader curricula, fostering a holistic educational experience.
- Maintain a safe and welcoming classroom atmosphere, encouraging curiosity and respect among children.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools for record‑keeping, attendance tracking, and reporting student progress to parents and administration.
- Organize and lead occasional public speaking sessions, such as recitation competitions and community events.
- Participate in regular staff meetings, professional development workshops, and performance evaluations.
- Adhere to the institution’s policies on punctuality, dress code, and ethical conduct, reflecting the values of a Muslim‑friendly workplace.
- Provide mentorship and after‑school support for students needing additional practice or guidance.
Requirements
- Female Muslim candidate (Muslimah) with a strong personal commitment to Islamic values.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Unmarried and without children, to ensure full availability for the required schedule.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and graphic‑design applications (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW).
- Excellent Qur’an recitation skills with correct Tajweed; tilawah ability is highly preferred.
- Outstanding public‑speaking and communication abilities.
- Professional, attractive appearance and a positive demeanor when interacting with children and parents.
- Willingness to reside on‑site at the BQC campus or nearby housing provided by the institution.
- Own a reliable two‑wheel vehicle for commuting and occasional field trips.
- Passionate about working with children and capable of creating a fun, nurturing learning environment.
- Ability to perform under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to evolving classroom needs.
