Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new client prospects in the Bawen area, inviting them to join Amartha’s micro‑credit programs and explaining the benefits of participation.
- Conduct in‑depth household economic assessments, offering tailored financial guidance and supporting members in managing their micro‑enterprise cash flow.
- Perform field surveys and feasibility analyses for loan applications, strictly adhering to Amartha’s underwriting policies, risk‑assessment frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive recommendation reports for the credit committee, highlighting creditworthiness, repayment capacity, and potential social impact.
- Facilitate weekly group meetings with borrowers, reviewing performance, addressing concerns, and fostering a collaborative peer‑learning environment.
- Monitor repayment schedules, proactively intervene when delinquencies arise, and coordinate collection activities to maintain portfolio health.
- Document all field interactions in the company’s CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting to regional supervisors.
- Stay current with local market trends, agricultural cycles, and government subsidies that may affect borrowers’ ability to service their loans.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; higher education is a plus.
- Age: 21‑28 years old, with a flexible attitude toward field work.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- No prior experience required; however, internships or volunteer work in community development, sales, or finance are advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate credit applications and household financial statements.
