Introduction
We are a leading financial services provider operating across East Java, dedicated to supporting small‑to‑medium enterprises and individual borrowers with responsible credit solutions. To strengthen our field collection team, we are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Field Collectors (Kolektor Lapangan) for the Tulungagung, Kediri, and Blitar regions. This role is pivotal in maintaining portfolio health, fostering positive relationships with customers, and ensuring timely repayment of overdue accounts.
Responsibilities
- Receive and verify the daily visitation list assigned by the collection supervisor, confirming the geographic area and priority of each case.
- Visit assigned customers on schedule, conducting face‑to‑face conversations to discuss outstanding balances and negotiate repayment plans.
- Execute overdue (over‑due) collection activities, focusing on accounts that have exceeded the agreed credit term, while adhering to company policies and legal regulations.
- Provide courteous reminders to borrowers whose payments are approaching the due date, helping them avoid future delinquency.
- Collect cash or electronic payments, issue receipts, and promptly deliver collected funds to the designated company office or banking partner.
- Maintain accurate field notes and update the central collection system in real time using a mobile device or laptop.
- Identify and report any signs of potential fraud, dispute, or inability to pay, escalating such cases to the credit risk team for further assessment.
- Collaborate with internal teams—credit, legal, and customer service—to ensure a seamless resolution of customer issues.
- Observe all safety protocols while traveling across the assigned districts, and adhere to the Monday‑Saturday work schedule (08:00‑17:00).
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: No upper limit; we value experience and attitude over age.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Work experience: Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are welcome.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with diverse customers.
- Basic numeracy and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Proficiency in using mobile applications, Microsoft Office, or similar collection software.
- Resilience, problem‑solving mindset, and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the Tulungagung, Kediri, and Blitar areas.
