This frontline position plays a pivotal role in promoting credit‑based purchasing solutions, delivering financial education, and ensuring a welcoming in‑store experience for shoppers throughout the Ogan Komering Ulu region.
The successful candidate will represent the Home Credit brand, help visitors understand financing options, and contribute to the growth of our market share in one of Indonesia’s most dynamic retail corridors.
Responsibilities
- Actively present and explain Home Credit’s installment and credit purchase programs to customers interested in acquiring merchandise.
- Guide prospective borrowers through the application process, ensuring all required documentation is accurately collected and submitted.
- Deliver clear, jargon‑free financial education to help customers make informed decisions about credit usage.
- Maintain a friendly, smiling demeanor at all times, creating a positive atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
- Achieve daily and weekly sales targets by upselling suitable credit solutions and cross‑selling related products.
- Collaborate with store managers and fellow crew members to coordinate promotional events and seasonal campaigns.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor issues on the spot, escalating complex cases to senior staff when necessary.
- Keep the store’s sales floor organized, ensuring promotional materials, brochures, and digital displays are up‑to‑date.
- Report daily performance metrics, including the number of applications processed, approval rates, and feedback from customers.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with Home Credit’s product portfolio, compliance standards, and best‑practice sales techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK/MA or equivalent (Paket C acceptable).
- Age not exceeding 40 years.
- Open to all genders.
- At least 1 year of experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts in simple terms.
- Proven sales orientation and a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- High level of personal integrity and a commitment to responsible lending practices.
- Willingness to be based in Ogan Komering Ulu and travel within the surrounding area as needed.
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer literacy for entering data into Home Credit’s CRM system.
