Introduction

Amartha is a leading micro‑finance platform dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs across Indonesia. We are expanding our footprint in the Sibolga region and are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Business Partner – Wilayah Sibolga. This role is pivotal in connecting local mothers (“ibu mitra”) with Amartha’s financial products, driving sustainable growth, and supporting the long‑term success of our community‑focused mission.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and onboard new ibu mitra by presenting Amartha’s loan and savings solutions in a clear, compelling manner.
  • Conduct on‑site eligibility surveys, assess creditworthiness, and prepare documentation for loan applications.
  • Guide partners through the fund disbursement process, ensuring timely receipt of capital and smooth repayment cycles.
  • Maintain regular follow‑up with partners to monitor loan usage, collect repayments, and address any challenges they encounter.
  • Build strong relationships with local community leaders, women’s groups, and other stakeholders to expand Amartha’s reach.
  • Gather market intelligence on local business trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities, and report findings to regional management.
  • Organize and lead community workshops and training sessions on financial literacy and entrepreneurial best practices.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports, highlighting recruitment numbers, loan disbursements, repayment rates, and any risk indicators.
  • Uphold Amartha’s ethical standards, ensuring transparency, fairness, and confidentiality in all interactions.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree (S1) is a plus.
  • Age: up to 30 years old.
  • Possession of a personal motorcycle and valid driver’s license for field mobility.
  • Willingness to work in the field and travel throughout the Sibolga area, including occasional relocations.
  • All genders are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and ethical judgment when evaluating partner eligibility.
  • Self‑motivation, resilience, and the ability to work independently while meeting targets.
  • Basic proficiency with mobile applications and data entry tools for reporting.
