Introduction

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Cashier & Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic retail and café environment. This role is pivotal in delivering an exceptional shopping experience, handling financial transactions accurately, and providing friendly service that encourages repeat business. The successful candidate will work in a fast‑paced setting, interacting with a diverse clientele while maintaining the highest standards of honesty, discipline, and responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system to process cash, credit, and digital payments with precision.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and beverage orders, ensuring quality and consistency in line with brand standards.
  • Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and resolve any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including regular sanitization of equipment and work surfaces.
  • Monitor inventory levels of consumables (e.g., coffee beans, syrups, napkins) and communicate restocking needs to the manager.
  • Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, preparing accurate shift reports for accounting.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, such as setting up the register, securing cash, and verifying store security systems.
  • Collaborate with team members across the floor to meet sales targets and achieve a seamless customer journey.
  • Handle high‑volume periods efficiently, staying calm under pressure while meeting time‑sensitive targets.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on new menu items, promotions, and POS software upgrades.

Requirements

  • Male or female candidates aged 17‑30 years.
  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a cashier and/or barista in a retail or café setting.
  • Proficiency with standard cash‑handling systems and familiarity with basic POS software.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer‑focused attitude.
  • Strong sense of honesty, discipline, and responsibility; ability to follow company policies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Team player who can collaborate across departments while also taking initiative independently.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
