Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Cashier – Retail Sales to join our bustling store environment. Responsibilities
- Process sales transactions accurately using the store’s point‑of‑sale (POS) system, ensuring correct pricing, discounts, and tax calculations.
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout area and manage cash drawers, performing end‑of‑day reconciliation and reporting any discrepancies.
- Provide friendly, courteous service by greeting customers, answering product queries, and offering assistance with promotions or loyalty programs.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in compliance with company policies, while documenting reasons for each transaction.
- Monitor inventory levels at the front of the store, alerting supervisors to low‑stock items and assisting with shelf‑stocking when needed.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours and special sales events.
- Respond promptly to customer feedback, resolve minor issues on the spot, and forward complex concerns to the floor manager.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and security protocols, including regular cash handling checks and loss‑prevention measures.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
