Introduction
We are seeking a proactive and results‑driven Account Officer (Collection) to join our growing team in Jambi. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely recovery of overdue accounts receivable (A/R) while maintaining strong relationships with our valued customers. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the complete collection cycle for overdue A/R, ensuring all payments are collected within the stipulated timeframes.
- Conduct regular field visits to customers to negotiate repayment plans, resolve disputes, and reinforce the importance of timely payments.
- Collaborate closely with branch teams to identify and support partners experiencing financial difficulties, offering appropriate remediation strategies.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly collection targets set by senior management.
- Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on collection activities, outstanding balances, and progress against goals.
- Maintain up‑to‑date records in the company’s CRM system, documenting all customer interactions, promises to pay, and settlement agreements.
- Identify trends in delinquent accounts and recommend process improvements to reduce future defaults.
- Provide timely feedback to credit and underwriting teams regarding customer payment behavior and risk indicators.
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards during collection activities.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or higher (D4); candidates with a high school (SMA) background may also be considered if they demonstrate strong potential.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in collections, credit control, or a related finance role.
- Age not exceeding 34 years.
- Solid understanding of multifinance business processes and a strong orientation toward achieving targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and maintain professionalism under pressure.
- High level of integrity, perseverance, meticulousness, and honesty.
- Proficiency with standard office software; familiarity with Android‑based applications is a plus.
- Willingness to work in the assigned domicile area (Jambi) and adapt to a standard work schedule of 08:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday.
