Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Collector (HI) to join our dynamic team in the Batulicin region of Kalimantan. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that overdue accounts receivable (A/R) are recovered promptly, supporting our multi‑finance business’s cash‑flow stability and customer satisfaction. This full‑time position offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑16:00, and is open to candidates who meet the educational and experiential criteria outlined below.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end‑to‑end collection process for overdue loans and credit facilities, ensuring all actions are taken within established timelines.
- Conduct daily monitoring of delinquent accounts, update the internal tracking system, and generate status reports for management review.
- Initiate contact with borrowers via phone, email, and in‑person visits to negotiate repayment plans that align with company policy and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the credit underwriting team to verify borrower information, resolve disputes, and confirm the accuracy of outstanding balances.
- Prepare and present weekly performance metrics, highlighting recovery rates, aging trends, and any escalated cases that require senior intervention.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all collection activities, ensuring compliance with internal controls and external audit standards.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff or newly hired collectors, sharing best practices in negotiation and customer communication.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on regulatory changes, advanced negotiation techniques, and financial product knowledge to continuously improve effectiveness.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum D3/D4 (or S1) in any discipline; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in credit collection, debt recovery, or related financial services (preferred but not mandatory).
- Age: No strict upper limit, but candidates up to 29 years old are given preference.
- Gender: Male.
- Core Skills: Credit monitoring, loan processing, debt recovery procedures, strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Demonstrated understanding of multi‑finance business processes and a results‑driven mindset.
- Excellent negotiation skills, high integrity, perseverance, meticulous attention to detail, and honesty.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to the placement location based on domicile.
- Proficiency with standard office software and familiarity with collection management systems.
