Introduction

The Control Quality Assurance Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and operational excellence. This position ensures that all manufacturing processes, raw materials, and finished goods comply with internal specifications as well as regulatory requirements. The specialist works closely with production teams, suppliers, and management to identify improvement opportunities, reduce defects, and uphold the company’s reputation for delivering reliable, safe, and high‑quality products to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, in‑process items, and finished products to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Develop, update, and maintain detailed quality control documentation, including inspection checklists, test reports, and non‑conformance records.
  • Perform statistical analysis on quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for process optimization.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verify their effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to evaluate incoming components, conduct audits, and ensure adherence to agreed quality standards.
  • Train and mentor junior staff and production operators on proper inspection techniques, measurement tools, and best practices.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, preparing evidence and addressing any findings promptly.
  • Maintain calibration schedules for measuring equipment and ensure all tools are within tolerance.
  • Prepare and present regular quality performance reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics such as defect rates, scrap levels, and compliance scores.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen projects to drive efficiency and reduce waste.

Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; higher education in engineering or a related field is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in quality control or a related manufacturing environment is preferred, though candidates with strong analytical aptitude are welcome.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong attention to detail, meticulous record‑keeping, and a sense of responsibility for product integrity.
  • Good physical health and mental resilience to handle repetitive inspection tasks and meet production deadlines.
  • Familiarity with basic statistical tools, measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges), and quality management systems (ISO 9001, HACCP, etc.) is a plus.
