Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kepala Workshop Teknik dan Manajemen Operasional to lead our workshop team in delivering high‑quality fabrication projects. This pivotal role bridges the gap between design, production, and client liaison, ensuring that every project is executed on time, within budget, and to the exacting standards expected by our customers. The successful candidate will report directly to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for overseeing all technical, logistical, and personnel aspects of the workshop.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site surveys and client visits to gather precise measurements, assess installation methods, and verify the type of material required for each project.
- Translate field data into actionable information for the marketing department, enabling accurate budget calculations and proposal preparation.
- Receive and interpret the Surat Perintah Kerja (SPK) from the design team, ensuring that all specifications are clearly understood before production begins.
- Prepare detailed production budgets, factoring in labor, material costs, equipment usage, and contingency allowances.
- Issue clear work orders and directives to workshop staff, aligning tasks with the approved SPK and any provided mock‑ups.
- Monitor daily workflow, verify that all activities adhere to the SPK, and adjust resources as needed to maintain schedule integrity.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels by coordinating with the warehouse to ensure that raw materials and consumables are always on hand.
- Enforce strict housekeeping standards, guaranteeing a clean, safe, and organized work environment for the entire team.
- Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and routine servicing of CNC machines, laser cutters, and other specialized equipment to minimize downtime.
- Provide mentorship and leadership, fostering a collaborative culture where team members are motivated to innovate and continuously improve processes.
- Prepare regular performance reports for senior management, highlighting production efficiency, cost variances, and any potential risks.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting process optimizations, new technologies, and training programs.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates, maximum age of 40‑45 years.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in workshop supervision, CNC/laser operations, or related manufacturing environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and measurement data.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate between design, marketing, and production teams.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities: honesty, decisive decision‑making, and the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Fast‑thinking, solution‑oriented mindset with a cooperative attitude and a passion for innovation.
- Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.
- Familiarity with construction tools, measuring instruments, and safety regulations.
- Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 09:00 – 16:00.
