Introduction
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Crew Restoran/Service professional to join our bustling food‑and‑beverage outlet. The role combines the responsibilities of a cashier, server, and on‑site team leader (Person In Charge). You will be the face of our restaurant during peak breakfast and lunch rushes, ensuring seamless operations from opening to closing. Responsibilities
- Execute opening and closing procedures, including cash register reconciliation and daily sales reporting.
- Take orders swiftly, memorize the menu, and serve guests with attentive, courteous service.
- Handle light customer complaints calmly, offering immediate solutions without escalating tension.
- Operate POS systems accurately, monitor voids, refunds, and discounts, and ensure cash counts are error‑free.
- Support fellow waitstaff during rush periods, stepping in as a backup server when needed.
- Lead the shift as Person In Charge: assign tasks, motivate team members, and maintain clear communication with kitchen staff and management.
- Control basic inventory, report stock shortages promptly, and assist with ordering processes.
- Uphold standard operating procedures (SOPs) for hygiene, safety, and service quality at all times.
- Maintain a professional demeanor: avoid personal phone use during work hours, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, and stay composed under pressure.
- Continuously seek improvements in workflow, suggest process enhancements, and act as a problem‑solver for operational challenges.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 30 years or younger.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- At least 1 year of experience in the food‑and‑beverage (F&B) sector; 1–2 years preferred.
- Previous experience as a shift leader or senior crew member is highly valued.
- Proven ability to manage high‑traffic periods such as breakfast and lunch rushes.
- Strong operational skills: confident use of POS, accurate cash handling, and familiarity with daily closing reports.
- Excellent service mindset: quick order taking, menu knowledge, and calm complaint resolution.
- Effective multitasking: serve guests while monitoring the cash register.
- Leadership qualities: decisive, firm yet respectful, able to allocate tasks and communicate clearly with kitchen and ownership.
- Basic stock‑control awareness and the ability to report inventory gaps.
- Core character traits: mental resilience, tolerance for pressure, non‑defensive attitude, problem‑solving orientation, and a strong sense of urgency.
- Prohibited behaviors: excessive relaxation, overly soft demeanor, panic under stress, or phone use during work hours.
