Introduction

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join the launch team of Mie Gacoan Palopo, a brand‑new outlet of the popular Indonesian noodle chain, located in the vibrant city of Palopo, South Sulawesi. As part of our expansion strategy, this role offers a unique opportunity to be involved from day one in building a high‑energy food & beverage (F&B) restaurant that delivers authentic, fast‑casual dining experiences. Responsibilities

  • Execute the full range of restaurant duties, including cash handling, order taking, food preparation, and maintaining a clean work area.
  • Rotate across multiple stations (cashier, server, noodle station, bar, dim sum, production, and clearing) to ensure operational flexibility and a seamless guest experience.
  • Provide attentive and friendly service to every guest, answering menu questions, offering recommendations, and handling special requests with professionalism.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene, following SOPs for storage, handling, and waste disposal.
  • Assist in daily opening and closing procedures, such as cash reconciliation, inventory counts, and equipment checks.
  • Participate actively in on‑the‑job training sessions, both in‑house and off‑site, to continuously improve product knowledge and service skills.
  • Support the launch team in setting up the new outlet, including arranging décor, testing POS systems, and coordinating with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Adhere to the shifting schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, to meet the restaurant’s operating hours.
  • Contribute to a positive workplace culture by being punctual, reliable, and respectful to teammates and customers alike.

Requirements

  • Maximum age of 30 years.
  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Open to fresh graduates as well as candidates with prior experience in the food & beverage, restaurant, or hospitality sector.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, energetic attitude.
  • Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Readiness to attend training programs locally and in other cities as required.
  • Ability to be deployed to the new Mie Gacoan branch in Palopo and adapt quickly to a fast‑pacing launch environment.
  • Basic proficiency in cash register operation, POS systems, and barista techniques.
  • Customer‑service orientation with a focus on delivering memorable dining experiences.
  • Team player who can handle multiple tasks, stay organized, and maintain composure under pressure.
