Introduction
The position of Floor Leader is open for placement in Kab. Bulungan (Sengkawit). This role is a pivotal entry‑point into the managerial track of a fast‑growing food & beverage brand, Mie Gacoan. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, guiding crew members, and ensuring that every guest experiences the high‑quality service and delicious menu items that define the brand.
Responsibilities
The Floor Leader will perform a blend of hands‑on crew duties and strategic management tasks. Core responsibilities include:
- Executing crew‑level tasks across all stations – serving, kitchen prep, bar, cash register, and sanitation.
- Supervising the overall restaurant operation, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and health‑safety compliance.
- Conducting regular stock‑take and inventory control to minimize waste and ensure product availability.
- Coordinating staff schedules, managing shift rotations, and handling overtime approvals.
- Leading the recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training of new employees, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Monitoring performance metrics such as service speed, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction scores, and implementing corrective actions when needed.
- Collaborating with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain food quality standards and efficient workflow.
- Reporting daily sales, labor costs, and operational issues to senior management.
- Participating in a mandatory 3‑ to 6‑month training program at any Mie Gacoan branch, with all accommodation, transportation, and living expenses covered by the company.
Requirements
Ideal candidates will meet the following qualifications and possess the listed soft and hard skills:
- Maximum age of 30 years.
- Minimum education: D3/D4 or S1 (any major).
- Prior experience in the Food & Beverage industry is preferred, though fresh graduates are welcome.
- Strong communication abilities and a collaborative mindset.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and the capacity to motivate a diverse team.
- Willingness to work flexible shift schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Analytical thinking, inventory control, conflict‑resolution, and presentation skills.
