Introduction
J&T Express, one of Indonesia’s fastest‑growing logistics providers, is urgently seeking motivated freelancers for the position of Processing, Sortir, dan Gudang (Warehouse Processing & Sorting) at its Madiun gateway. This is a full‑time, 8‑hour shift role with a one‑hour break, operating six days a week from Monday through Sunday. Responsibilities
- Receive inbound shipments, verify documentation, and ensure that all parcels match the accompanying manifests.
- Perform accurate sorting of packages according to destination codes, service level (e.g., regular, express, cash‑on‑delivery), and size constraints.
- Operate conveyor belts, scanning equipment, and handheld devices to track parcels in real‑time.
- Maintain tidy and organized storage zones, adhering to safety standards and proper stacking procedures.
- Conduct routine inventory checks, reconcile discrepancies, and report any damaged or lost items to supervisors.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks, ensuring optimal load distribution and securing cargo for transport.
- Collaborate with the gateway’s operations team to meet daily volume targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sort accuracy and turnaround time.
- Participate in shift handover meetings, documenting any issues, pending tasks, and suggestions for process improvements.
- Follow all company safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and emergency procedures.
- Provide courteous assistance to internal staff and, when necessary, to external partners or customers seeking parcel status updates.
Requirements
- Education: Open to all educational levels (SMA/SMK, Diploma, or University).
- Gender: Male candidates only, as specified by current operational needs.
- Age: No maximum age limit; applicants must be physically capable of performing manual warehouse tasks.
- Experience: No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Documentation: Valid Indonesian KTP (identity card) is mandatory.
- Availability: Ability to start immediately and commit to the shift schedule of 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Monday through Sunday.
- Key Skills: Basic understanding of warehouse and logistics management, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under time pressure.
- Soft Skills: Good communication, teamwork orientation, reliability, and a willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift packages up to 20 kg, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions safely.
