Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging Mandarin lessons for PG‑TK A‑TK B classes, employing age‑appropriate activities, songs, games, and storytelling.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans and RPP (Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran) that align with national curriculum standards and the school’s pedagogical philosophy.
- Assess student progress through observations, informal assessments, and structured evaluations; compile detailed development reports for each child.
- Collaborate regularly with classroom teachers, special educators, and support staff to integrate Mandarin instruction with broader curricular goals.
- Maintain open, proactive communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child’s language acquisition and offering guidance for at‑home reinforcement.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and school management software to record attendance, track performance data, and produce instructional materials.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events to continuously improve teaching practice.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and joyful classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and respect for cultural diversity.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4; preferably a S1 degree in Education, Linguistics, or Mandarin‑related fields.
- Female candidates only, as stipulated by school policy.
- At least 1 year of teaching experience with early‑childhood learners; prior Mandarin teaching experience is a strong advantage.
- Basic proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin; ability to model correct pronunciation and character recognition.
- Strong communication skills, both in Bahasa Indonesia and Mandarin, with the ability to convey concepts clearly to children and parents.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: patient, cheerful, and genuinely fond of working with young children.
- Demonstrated responsibility, reliability, and a collaborative spirit.
- Familiarity with early‑learning methodologies, child development milestones, and differentiated instruction strategies.
- Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for lesson planning and reporting.
