Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly, present menus, and answer any questions regarding dishes, ingredients, and daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using a POS system, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are noted.
- Serve meals and drinks efficiently, checking for guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including resetting tables, polishing silverware, and restocking supplies.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff and fellow servers to coordinate order timing and resolve any service issues.
- Handle cash and credit transactions responsibly, prepare accurate bills, and process payments.
- Respond to guest complaints or concerns with professionalism, seeking swift resolution or escalation when necessary.
- Assist with opening and closing duties such as setting up dining areas, conducting inventory checks, and ensuring health‑safety compliance.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on menu changes, new service protocols, and hospitality trends.
- Promote additional items, such as desserts, beverages, or special promotions, to enhance the overall dining experience and increase sales.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑30 years (maximum 30 years old).
- Prior experience as a waiter or waitress is strongly preferred, though motivated newcomers are also welcome.
- Professional appearance: neat, clean, and well‑groomed at all times.
- Excellent interpersonal skills – friendly, communicative, and able to engage with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure during peak service periods.
- Strong teamwork orientation with a willingness to support colleagues and share responsibilities.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and change.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, including occasional overtime during special events.
