Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Guru Les Privat Calistung to provide one‑on‑one tutoring for elementary‑school children in the Kaliwungu area. This role is ideal for enthusiastic educators who are passionate about fostering foundational literacy and numeracy skills (reading, writing, and arithmetic) in young learners. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver customized lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and address each child’s unique learning style.
- Assess student performance through informal observations, quizzes, and regular progress reports, adjusting instruction as needed.
- Employ a variety of teaching aids—including visual materials, interactive games, and digital resources—to make learning engaging and effective.
- Maintain a supportive and respectful classroom environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and independent thinking.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss goals, achievements, and any areas requiring additional attention.
- Track attendance, lesson outcomes, and curriculum milestones using the center’s reporting system.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings and professional development workshops to stay current with best practices in primary education.
- Uphold the center’s values of integrity, inclusivity, and professionalism, serving as a positive role model for students.
Requirements
- Female (Muslimah) candidates only.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Residency within Kaliwungu or surrounding neighborhoods.
- Educational background: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) required; preference for candidates holding a bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, Bahasa Indonesia, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Active university students are welcome to apply.
- Strong command of Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken.
- Demonstrated ability to develop teaching skills and adapt methodologies to suit individual learners.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Basic proficiency with digital learning tools and the ability to incorporate them into lessons.
- Commitment to working Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
