Introduction
SPX Express is seeking a dynamic Hub Lead for its Kasui hub in Kabupaten Way Kanan, Lampung. This pivotal role ensures the seamless flow of parcels from pickup to final delivery, acting as the operational backbone for our last‑mile and first‑mile logistics network. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team, coordinate with warehouse and transportation partners, and uphold the highest standards of service reliability and safety.
Responsibilities
- Monitor end‑to‑end parcel movement, guaranteeing on‑time pickups, transit, and deliveries to customers.
- Coordinate daily with Warehouse, Line Haul, and third‑party logistics (3PL) partners to align schedules, resolve bottlenecks, and optimize routing.
- Implement loss‑prevention strategies to minimize missing or damaged packages, including regular audits and real‑time incident reporting.
- Oversee all hub transactions, ensuring accurate data entry, inventory reconciliation, and compliance with SOPs.
- Supervise inbound and outbound activities, balancing dock capacity, loading efficiency, and safety protocols.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate hub staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high performance.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery rate, order accuracy, and cost per shipment; recommend corrective actions.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for advanced reporting, trend analysis, and forecasting to support strategic decision‑making.
- Lead process‑improvement initiatives, applying lean and FIFO (First‑In‑First‑Out) methodologies to streamline operations.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies at the hub.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or coordinator experience within logistics, supply chain, or a related industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in both Last Mile and First Mile operations.
- Strong understanding of planning, shipping, and warehousing processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization.
- Hands‑on experience with FIFO inventory methods and logistics cost analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret performance metrics and drive improvements.
- Willingness to reside in or relocate to Kasui, Kab. Way Kanan, Lampung.
