Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Officer – Mobile (Marketing) to join our growing team in Surabaya, Jawa Timur. This full‑time position reports to the Regional Sales Manager and plays a pivotal role in expanding our market presence by promoting the company’s mobile product portfolio to both existing and new customers. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with a solid foundation in sales processes, credit application handling, and customer relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and engage potential customers across the Surabaya region, presenting the full range of mobile products and services offered by the company.
- Maintain and deepen relationships with existing customers, ensuring repeat business and upselling opportunities.
- Generate orders through various distribution channels, gather initial customer data, verify information, and complete all necessary credit documentation.
- Track the progress of each credit application, liaise with the credit department, and promptly communicate approval or rejection decisions to dealers and customers.
- Provide customers with clear information on payment due dates, collection locations, and any additional requirements related to financing or product delivery.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align promotional activities with sales objectives and provide market feedback.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, including pipeline status, conversion rates, and any challenges encountered in the field.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on product features, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting credit approvals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements throughout all sales activities.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (any major) – graduates from all fields are welcome.
- Age: maximum 30 years old.
- At least 1 year of experience in B2C sales, preferably within the mobile or consumer electronics sector; fresh graduates may be considered if they demonstrate strong sales potential.
- Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing and post‑sale follow‑up.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for negotiation and conflict resolution.
- High level of integrity, perseverance, attention to detail, and honesty.
- Own a valid driver’s license (SIM A/C) and have access to a personal vehicle for customer visits.
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple credit applications and documentation simultaneously.
- Proficiency in basic sales management tools and Microsoft Office suite.
