Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Staf Dapur to join our dynamic kitchen team at the Sawah Lebar & Sido Mulyo locations. This role is essential for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and efficiency in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment. The successful candidate will play a key part in preparing ingredients, supporting inventory control, and ensuring that every dish leaves the kitchen ready to delight our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly clean all dishes, workstations, cooking equipment, and storage areas in compliance with food‑safety regulations and company hygiene standards.
  • Wash, peel, slice, and pre‑process vegetables, meats, and other ingredients according to recipe specifications.
  • Properly label, store, and organize raw materials and prepared items to preserve freshness and prevent cross‑contamination.
  • Assist the kitchen supervisor in monitoring stock levels, reporting shortages, and rotating inventory to minimize waste.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to safety, sanitation, and operational workflow.
  • Assemble and package customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely service during peak periods.
  • Support the head chef with basic food preparation tasks during high‑volume service times.
  • Participate in daily briefings, contributing ideas for process improvements and helping train new team members.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, promptly addressing any spills or hazards.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen or food‑service environment.
  • All genders welcome; no age limit.
  • Proven ability to follow food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Basic cooking skills and familiarity with common kitchen tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a spotless work area.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to take direction and give feedback constructively.
  • Time‑management aptitude to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy service hours.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive motions safely.
