Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, scanning items, processing various payment methods (cash, debit, credit, e‑wallet), and issuing receipts.
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances, perform end‑of‑shift reconciliation, and report any discrepancies promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering product inquiries, and resolving minor issues with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist in merchandising tasks such as restocking shelves, arranging promotional displays, and ensuring pricing labels are correct.
- Monitor store cleanliness and organization at the checkout area, including keeping the counter free of clutter and ensuring a tidy work environment.
- Collaborate with sales associates and floor managers to handle returns, exchanges, and warranty claims in accordance with company policies.
- Utilize basic computer skills to update inventory records, generate sales reports, and input customer feedback into the system.
- Participate in regular training sessions on product knowledge, sales techniques, and safety protocols.
- Adhere to the scheduled work hours (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00) and maintain punctual attendance.
- Uphold company standards of honesty, accuracy, and responsibility in all cash‑handling and customer‑facing activities.
Requirements
- Female candidates, maximum age 25 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a cashier or in a customer‑service oriented retail role.
- Proficient in operating computers and familiar with POS software.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to engage positively with diverse customers.
- High level of honesty, attention to detail, and accountability in cash handling.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy retail environment.
- Flexibility to work six days a week, adhering to the stipulated shift schedule.
