Introduction

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Kepala Departemen Gudang dan Logistik to lead our warehouse and logistics operations at the strategic Distribution Center in Kediri (Jl. Mauni No. 86A, Kel. Bangsal, Kec. Pesantren). This senior role is pivotal in ensuring that inventory flows smoothly from receipt to shipment, supporting our supply‑chain excellence and meeting the high service standards expected by our customers across Indonesia.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage the day‑to‑day operations of the warehouse, ensuring all activities align with company goals and safety standards.
  • Supervise receiving, storage, and dispatch processes, guaranteeing accurate documentation and timely order fulfillment.
  • Optimize space utilization and workflow layouts to enhance throughput while minimizing handling costs.
  • Control inventory levels by overseeing ordering, receipt, inspection, and periodic stock‑taking, and generate detailed reports for senior management.
  • Manage the distribution fleet, schedule vehicle maintenance, and ensure compliance with transportation regulations.
  • Analyze operational data, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions that improve accuracy, speed, and cost‑effectiveness.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse processes, including safety protocols and emergency response plans.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to synchronize demand forecasts with inventory availability.
  • Prepare and present performance dashboards, highlighting key metrics such as order cycle time, inventory turnover, and vehicle utilization.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (associate) or S1 (bachelor) in any discipline; a degree in Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain is preferred.
  • Maximum age: 35 years.
  • At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably in a distribution center environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, forecast inventory needs, and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory control systems, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team‑management capabilities; ability to motivate staff and resolve conflicts constructively.
  • High level of accuracy, speed, and integrity; must be trustworthy and detail‑oriented.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management software (WMS) and MS Office, especially Excel for reporting.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:30 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
