Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage the day‑to‑day operations of the warehouse, ensuring all activities align with company goals and safety standards.
- Supervise receiving, storage, and dispatch processes, guaranteeing accurate documentation and timely order fulfillment.
- Optimize space utilization and workflow layouts to enhance throughput while minimizing handling costs.
- Control inventory levels by overseeing ordering, receipt, inspection, and periodic stock‑taking, and generate detailed reports for senior management.
- Manage the distribution fleet, schedule vehicle maintenance, and ensure compliance with transportation regulations.
- Analyze operational data, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions that improve accuracy, speed, and cost‑effectiveness.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse processes, including safety protocols and emergency response plans.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to synchronize demand forecasts with inventory availability.
- Prepare and present performance dashboards, highlighting key metrics such as order cycle time, inventory turnover, and vehicle utilization.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (associate) or S1 (bachelor) in any discipline; a degree in Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain is preferred.
- Maximum age: 35 years.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably in a distribution center environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, forecast inventory needs, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory control systems, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team‑management capabilities; ability to motivate staff and resolve conflicts constructively.
- High level of accuracy, speed, and integrity; must be trustworthy and detail‑oriented.
- Proficiency with warehouse management software (WMS) and MS Office, especially Excel for reporting.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:30 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
