Introduction
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Kitchen Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all food preparation and service areas are fully staffed and equipped.
- Develop and maintain weekly work schedules for chefs, line cooks, and support staff, taking into account peak service periods and employee availability.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, spices, and consumables; place orders with approved vendors and conduct regular stock audits to minimize waste.
- Implement and enforce food safety protocols in accordance with local health regulations, conducting routine inspections and corrective actions when needed.
- Oversee the maintenance and proper functioning of kitchen equipment, arranging repairs or replacements promptly to avoid downtime.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop cost‑effective menu plans, analyze food cost percentages, and suggest improvements for profitability.
- Act as a liaison between the kitchen and front‑of‑house staff to ensure seamless communication and timely order fulfillment.
- Lead training sessions on sanitation, equipment handling, and emergency procedures for new and existing team members.
- Handle unexpected challenges such as staff shortages or equipment failures calmly and efficiently, maintaining service quality under pressure.
- Prepare regular operational reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators such as waste reduction, labor efficiency, and compliance scores.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.

- Strong communication skills; able to convey instructions clearly to diverse team members.

- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
