Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Koordinator Lapangan Ekspedisi to lead our courier recruitment and field operations in the Padang Utara region. This pivotal role bridges the gap between our Human Resources team and on‑the‑ground logistics staff, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified couriers who can uphold our high standards of service delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, vetting, and onboarding couriers, while also monitoring performance metrics, managing documentation, and supporting fraud‑prevention initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and attract potential couriers through a variety of channels, including flyering, social media campaigns, community outreach, and referral programs.
  • Screen candidates rigorously by verifying driver’s licenses (SIM), vehicle ownership, insurance, and other compliance documents.
  • Conduct structured interviews, assess soft skills such as reliability and customer service orientation, and ensure all required paperwork is complete.
  • Provide comprehensive onboarding, delivering clear instructions on daily tasks, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and the use of company mobile applications for tracking and reporting.
  • Track recruitment KPIs such as time‑to‑hire, conversion rates, and courier retention, and propose improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Prepare regular recruitment reports for the HR team and senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with the fraud‑prevention unit to understand common field‑level fraud scenarios, train couriers on detection methods, and assist in the resolution of any incidents.
  • Maintain strong relationships with local transportation hubs, vehicle dealers, and community leaders to build a reliable talent pool.
  • Coordinate with the operations team to align courier availability with peak delivery periods, ensuring service continuity.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Male candidates only, as per operational requirements.
  • At least 1 year of experience in recruitment, field coordination, or logistics operations.
  • Proven ability to conduct interviews, evaluate driver qualifications, and manage documentation.
  • Strong understanding of debt collection processes, courier billing, and basic financial reconciliation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a diverse workforce.
  • High level of integrity and a keen eye for identifying potential fraud or irregularities in the field.
  • Proficiency in using mobile apps, spreadsheets, and basic HR software tools.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional overtime during peak seasons.
