Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Manager Site – Pengawasan Operasional Lapangan to lead the on‑site civil engineering operations of our rapidly expanding construction portfolio. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between project owners, engineering teams, and field personnel, ensuring that every phase of construction is executed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This role is critical to our commitment to delivering landmark infrastructure projects across the region.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily field activities, including earthworks, structural concrete works, and utility installations, ensuring compliance with design specifications and local regulations.
- Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and laborers, fostering clear communication and collaborative problem‑solving.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, resource allocations, and budgets; proactively identify variances and implement corrective actions.
- Enforce rigorous safety protocols, conduct regular toolbox talks, and maintain incident‑free work environments in line with occupational health standards.
- Conduct quality inspections, generate daily and weekly progress reports, and provide actionable feedback to senior management.
- Manage procurement and logistics for materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and optimal utilization on site.
- Facilitate client and stakeholder meetings, presenting status updates, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
- Mentor junior staff and promote continuous professional development through on‑the‑job training and formal workshops.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including as‑built drawings, change orders, and regulatory filings.
Requirements
- Male candidates only.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in site supervision or operational management within civil construction.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and relevant standards.
- Excellent teamwork abilities and a collaborative mindset.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non‑technical stakeholders.
- High levels of integrity, honesty, discipline, and loyalty.
- Physically and mentally fit; must have completed the COVID‑19 booster vaccination series.
- Possession of a valid Class A driving license (SIM A) is an advantage.
- Not currently employed by another organization or company.
- Proficiency in project management tools, MS Office suite, and basic budgeting software.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to make decisive decisions under pressure.
