To strengthen our frontline service team, we are seeking a skilled Mechanic – Front Suspension (Bongkar‑Pasang) who is passionate about vehicle dynamics and committed to upholding the highest standards of safety and quality.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic workshop environment, report directly to the Captain Mechanic, and work closely with a seasoned technical team. This role offers exposure to a wide range of vehicle makes and models, as well as the opportunity to develop expertise with advanced diagnostic and repair equipment.
Responsibilities
- Execute front‑end disassembly and re‑assembly procedures according to the Captain Mechanic’s instructions and established SOPs.
- Diagnose, repair, and replace suspension components such as shock absorbers, tie‑rods, ball joints, control arm bushings, and steering linkages.
- Operate and maintain workshop tools including hydraulic presses, wheel‑balancing/spooring machines, impact wrenches, and torque meters.
- Conduct thorough visual inspections to ensure no hidden defects remain after repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, safeguarding parts, equipment, manuals, and hand‑tool sets.
- Document all service actions, parts used, and test results in the shop management system.
- Collaborate with teammates to achieve efficient workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Provide courteous explanations to customers about the work performed and any recommended follow‑up services.
- Assist management with additional tasks, such as inventory checks, equipment calibration, and training of junior technicians.
Requirements
- Male candidates only; must be willing to travel (rolling) to any Jantrakakikaki branch in Java‑Bali.
- Maximum age of 30 years.
- Vision: No myopia or other visual impairments that could jeopardize safety.
- Active SIM C driver’s licence (SIM A is a plus).
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent, preferably a diploma in Automotive Technology.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; however, at least 1 year of hands‑on experience with front‑suspension systems is preferred.
- Proficient in the diagnosis and repair of suspension, steering, and related components (shock absorber, tie‑rod, ball joint, bushing, etc.).
- Familiarity with workshop equipment such as hydraulic presses, spooring‑balancing rigs, and impact wrenches.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong discipline, attention to detail, and accountability.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English is an advantage.
- Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑16:00.
