We are seeking a skilled Mekanik Kendaraan Bermotor Berpengalaman to join our dynamic service team. This full‑time position is based at our modern workshop and offers a stable Monday‑to‑Saturday schedule (08:00‑17:00). The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of motor vehicles, ensuring that each vehicle leaves the shop in optimal condition. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on cars, motorcycles, and light commercial vehicles.
- Identify mechanical faults, interpret technical manuals, and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
- Execute repairs such as engine overhauls, transmission servicing, brake system maintenance, and electrical system troubleshooting.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders in the company’s management system.
- Collaborate closely with fellow technicians, service advisors, and parts personnel to ensure timely job completion.
- Adhere to safety protocols, use personal protective equipment, and keep the workshop clean and organized.
- Continuously update technical knowledge by attending training sessions, reading manufacturer bulletins, and staying informed about industry trends.
- Provide clear explanations to customers regarding repairs performed, recommended services, and cost estimates.
- Assist in mentoring junior mechanics, sharing best practices, and fostering a culture of learning.
Requirements
- Male candidate, maximum age of 38 years.
- Minimum educational qualification: SMK (Diploma) with a focus on automotive technology; D3/D4 preferred.
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience as a motor vehicle mechanic in a professional workshop environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and diagnostic tools.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical staff.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina to handle lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Willingness to adhere to the company’s schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
