Introduction
The Mitra Collection Back End (MCBE) position is based in Langsa (Ahmad Yani) and serves as a critical link in our credit‑recovery operations. As a member of the collections team, you will be responsible for managing overdue accounts receivable (A/R) and ensuring that payment collections are performed promptly and professionally. This role is ideal for candidates who are motivated, detail‑oriented, and eager to develop a career in the multifinance sector, even if they have no prior experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the end‑to‑end collection process for overdue A/R, ensuring all actions are taken within stipulated timelines.
- Conduct on‑site visits to borrowers for face‑to‑face collection efforts, documenting interactions and outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate with branch teams to support the handling of problematic partners, providing data and insights that aid resolution.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly collection targets set by the company, tracking performance against key metrics.
- Initiate and execute the retrieval of assets from delinquent customers, coordinating with legal and asset‑recovery departments as needed.
- Maintain up‑to‑date records in the credit management system, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal policies.
- Prepare regular reports on collection activities, overdue trends, and risk assessments for senior management review.
- Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives, suggesting process enhancements to reduce delinquency rates.
- Provide exceptional customer service during collection calls and visits, balancing firmness with empathy to preserve customer relationships.
Requirements
- Education: Open to all educational levels; a high school diploma is the minimum requirement.
- Age: Minimum 18 years, maximum 65 years.
- Gender: Male (as specified by the hiring criteria).
- Experience: No prior experience required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong understanding of multifinance business processes and a results‑driven mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- High integrity, perseverance, attention to detail, and honesty.
- Possession of an SPPI (Surat Pengantar Penagihan Instalasi) card is a plus but not mandatory.
- Core competencies: Credit monitoring, loan processing, debt collection, and interpersonal communication.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that may include weekends (Monday‑Sunday) with core hours from 08:00 to 16:00.
