Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Officer Remedial (Collection) to join our Panton Labu branch. This role is critical in safeguarding the company’s cash flow by ensuring timely collection of overdue accounts receivable (A/R). The successful candidate will act as a liaison between the finance team, branch staff, and our valued customers, applying strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to resolve delinquent accounts while maintaining the company’s reputation for professionalism and integrity.
The position is based in the Panton Labu area, with work days from Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑17:00. Candidates must meet the educational, age, and experience criteria outlined below and be ready to travel locally to meet clients as part of the collection process.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end‑to‑end collection process for overdue A/R, ensuring all payments are secured within the stipulated timelines.
- Conduct field visits to customers for direct collection, dispute resolution, and relationship building.
- Collaborate closely with branch managers to identify and assist with problematic partner accounts, providing timely recommendations for remediation.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly collection targets set by senior management.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of collection activities, payment agreements, and customer communications in the company’s CRM system.
- Prepare regular reports on collection performance, highlighting trends, risk areas, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Stay informed about the multifinance industry’s regulatory environment and ensure all collection activities comply with legal standards.
- Participate in periodic training sessions to sharpen negotiation techniques, credit monitoring, and compliance knowledge.
- Support the credit team in evaluating new loan applications by providing insights from collection experiences.
- Promote a customer‑centric approach, balancing firm collection goals with the need to preserve long‑term client relationships.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum D3/D4 (or S1) in any field; recent graduates are welcome.
- Age: Maximum 30 years (candidates up to 29 years are preferred).
- Gender: Male.
- Experience: At least 1 year in collections, credit monitoring, or a related multifinance role; experience is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated understanding of multifinance business processes and a results‑oriented mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven negotiation abilities.
- High integrity, resilience, attention to detail, and honesty in all dealings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handling pressure to meet strict deadlines.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned domicile area for on‑site customer visits.
