Responsibilities
- Interpret and translate design sketches into accurate paper or digital patterns.
- Perform manual and machine‑assisted cutting of various fabrics while minimizing waste.
- Operate industrial sewing machines, ensuring correct thread tension, needle selection, and stitch type.
- Assemble garments according to pattern specifications, maintaining strict adherence to fit and finish standards.
- Achieve daily production targets while monitoring workflow efficiency.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of cutting tables, sewing machines, and related equipment.
- Document work processes, fabric utilization, and any deviations from the standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate closely with design, quality control, and inventory teams to resolve pattern ambiguities and material shortages.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, such as optimizing layout on the cutting floor or suggesting alternative stitching techniques.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including proper handling of sharp tools and machine guards.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: up to 40 years.
- Gender: open to all genders.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in pattern making, fabric cutting, or garment sewing.
- Proficiency in drawing patterns by hand and using basic CAD‑based pattern software.
- Ability to operate both manual and industrial sewing machines.
- Strong understanding of fabric behavior, grain lines, and lay‑up techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail, honesty, and a high level of personal integrity.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Disciplined attitude toward punctuality and meeting production schedules.
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance, including needle changes, thread tension adjustments, and routine cleaning.
