Responsibilities
- Operate Crown brand reachtrucks safely and efficiently to transport pallets, cartons, and bulk items throughout the cold‑storage facility.
- Load and unload inbound shipments, ensuring proper placement on racks according to inventory management procedures.
- Perform daily equipment inspections, report any defects, and conduct routine maintenance such as battery checks and brake testing.
- Maintain accurate documentation of stock movements using handheld scanners and warehouse management software.
- Coordinate with warehouse supervisors, forklift drivers, and inventory clerks to meet order‑fulfillment targets and minimize bottlenecks.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with cold‑storage temperature guidelines.
- Assist in periodic stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits, ensuring data integrity and minimal shrinkage.
- Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives, suggesting workflow enhancements to improve productivity and reduce handling time.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, promptly disposing of debris and ensuring aisles remain clear for safe operation.
- Provide on‑the‑spot training and mentorship to new operators, sharing best practices for reachtruck handling and cold‑environment safety.
Requirements
- Male candidates, maximum age of 35 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience operating a Crown reachtruck in a cold‑storage or similar environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work comfortably in low‑temperature conditions without the need for corrective eyewear.
- Strong understanding of heavy‑equipment safety standards and warehouse operating procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, reliability, and a team‑oriented attitude.
- Physical stamina to lift moderate loads and stand for extended periods in chilled settings.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory system usage.
- Flexibility to adapt to shift schedules; typical working hours are 08:00 – 17:00, with potential for overtime during peak seasons.
