Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Operator Sorter DW to join our fast‑growing logistics team in Bantul, Yogyakarta. This role is essential to maintaining the flow of goods through our distribution center, ensuring that every item is accurately inspected, matched to its order code, and placed in the correct storage location. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, can thrive in a shift‑based environment, and is eager to grow within a dynamic supply‑chain operation.
Responsibilities
- Inspect all incoming shipments to verify quantity and condition.
- Match each item against its corresponding order code using handheld scanners or printed documents.
- Identify and report any damaged, missing, or incorrectly labeled products.
- Transport verified items to their designated storage zones, ensuring proper placement for efficient retrieval.
- Maintain a clean and organized sorting area, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the receiving, inventory, and dispatch teams to resolve discrepancies quickly.
- Participate in regular cycle counts and assist with periodic inventory audits.
- Adapt to shifting schedules, including night or weekend shifts, to meet operational demands.
- Continuously improve sorting processes by providing feedback and suggestions to supervisors.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age between 18 and 35 years.
- Male candidates only (as specified by the client’s operational policy).
- No prior experience required, although experience as a DW Sorter is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work on rotating shifts, Monday through Saturday, 08:00–17:00.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate visual inspections.
- Quick adaptation to new tools, such as barcode scanners and warehouse management software.
- Good physical stamina to handle moderate lifting and prolonged standing.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
