Introduction
SPX Express, a leading last‑mile logistics provider in Indonesia, is seeking a dynamic Hub Lead for its Pemalang, Jawa Tengah hub. This pivotal role ensures that parcels move smoothly from collection to final delivery, coordinating cross‑functional teams and maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence. The ideal candidate will combine hands‑on logistics experience with strong leadership skills to drive performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Monitor end‑to‑end parcel flow, guaranteeing on‑time pickups, transit, and deliveries to customers.
- Coordinate daily activities with Warehouse, Line Haul, and third‑party logistics (3PL) partners to align schedules and resolve bottlenecks.
- Implement risk‑mitigation strategies to minimize loss, damage, or misrouting of packages.
- Oversee all hub transactions, ensuring accurate data entry, timely reconciliation, and compliance with SOPs.
- Supervise inbound and outbound operations, including loading, unloading, sorting, and dispatch processes.
- Lead, coach, and develop hub staff—conducting performance reviews, providing on‑the‑job training, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery, pick‑rate accuracy, and cost per parcel; generate regular reports for senior management.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, and promoting employee awareness.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools to forecast volume trends, plan resource allocation, and support strategic decision‑making.
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalated customer issues, ensuring swift resolution and maintaining brand reputation.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or coordination experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related industry.
- Demonstrated experience in both Last Mile and First Mile operations.
- Strong understanding of planning, shipping, and warehousing processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to train, motivate, and develop a diverse team of hub staff.
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to Taman, Kabupaten Pemalang, Jawa Tengah.
- Flexible to work Monday‑Friday, 09:30 – 18:30.
