Introduction

Tunas Honda Pinrang, an authorized Honda dealer serving the Pinrang region, is seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Team Leader – Regional Sales. This role is pivotal in steering a high‑performing sales team, crafting market‑specific strategies, and ensuring that customers receive the premium service they expect from the Honda brand. Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Develop and implement regional sales plans that align with corporate goals, taking into account local market conditions and competitor activity.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as unit sales, revenue, gross profit, and customer satisfaction, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Conduct daily briefings and weekly performance reviews, delivering constructive feedback and actionable improvement plans.
  • Identify high‑potential prospects, negotiate contracts, and close deals for new vehicle purchases, after‑sales services, and accessories.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to launch localized promotions, events, and test‑drive campaigns that drive foot traffic.
  • Maintain accurate records in the dealership’s CRM system, ensuring data integrity for forecasting and inventory management.
  • Resolve escalated customer complaints with professionalism, turning potential issues into loyalty‑building opportunities.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with Honda’s product lineup, financing options, and industry trends to effectively communicate value propositions.
  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training of new sales staff to sustain a pipeline of talent.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; further education in Business, Marketing, or Automotive Management is a plus.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in automotive sales or a related retail environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English is preferred.
  • Leadership qualities: ability to inspire a team, manage conflicts, and drive collective success.
  • Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic knowledge of dealership management systems.
