Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Motorist Delivery & Collector to join our logistics team in Cirebon. This full‑time position plays a critical role in ensuring that goods are transported safely, efficiently, and in strict accordance with company SOPs. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of delivery operations, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with customers, warehouse staff, and management.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily delivery routes as defined by the standard operating procedures (SOP), covering both urban and suburban areas of Cirebon and its surroundings.
- Guarantee that every shipment reaches the correct destination on time, coordinating with dispatch to adjust routes when traffic, weather, or customer constraints arise.
- Conduct a thorough pre‑delivery inspection of all items, verifying quantities, product condition, and matching each package to its corresponding invoice.
- Collect payments, signatures, or other required documentation from recipients and ensure accurate entry into the logistics management system.
- Report any discrepancies, damaged goods, or delivery exceptions to the logistics supervisor promptly, providing detailed notes for follow‑up.
- Maintain the cleanliness, routine servicing, and safety checks of the assigned vehicle, keeping logbooks up to date.
- Assist in inventory reconciliation by performing periodic spot‑checks of stock levels at the depot and reporting variances.
- Support the broader logistics team with ad‑hoc tasks such as loading, unloading, and assisting in warehouse organization during peak periods.
- Provide courteous, professional customer service, answering basic inquiries and escalating complex issues to the appropriate department.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Gender: Male (as per current operational policy).
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience in delivery, courier, or logistics collection roles.
- Core Skills:
- Inventory analysis – ability to verify items against invoices and flag inconsistencies.
- Logistics performance analysis – understanding of delivery metrics such as on‑time delivery rate and route efficiency.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and safe driving practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
- Problem‑solving mindset – quickly resolve delivery obstacles while maintaining service quality.
- Availability: Willing to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during high‑volume periods.
- Valid driver’s license for the vehicle class required by the company.
