Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Information Technology Support Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting the Suner and Cakung warehouse locations. This role is pivotal in ensuring that end‑users experience seamless operation of computers, network devices, and printers, while maintaining robust IT infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Provide daily technical support to end‑users, ensuring uninterrupted operation of PCs, laptops, printers, and networking equipment within the Sunter and Cakung warehouse areas.
- Diagnose and resolve application‑level issues, documenting each incident and updating the technical support knowledge base.
- Manage IT asset inventory, perform regular audits, and coordinate with external vendors for hardware procurement, maintenance, and warranty services.
- Maintain and monitor the office network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and Wi‑Fi access points, to guarantee optimal performance and security.
- Implement and oversee endpoint security solutions, such as antivirus and endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools, ensuring compliance with corporate security policies.
- Execute first‑level troubleshooting for hardware failures, perform replacements, and coordinate escalations for complex issues.
- Support scheduled server backups, monitor backup logs, and verify data integrity to safeguard critical business information.
- Generate regular system health reports, track key performance indicators, and recommend improvements to enhance overall IT service delivery.
- Participate in shift rotations, providing 24/7 coverage as needed to address urgent incidents and maintain service continuity.
- Assist in IT project initiatives, such as hardware upgrades, software deployments, and network expansion projects.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3/D4); a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic proficiency in English.
- Hands‑on experience with hardware troubleshooting (laptops, desktops, printers, photocopiers, routers, switches, etc.).
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, and common business applications.
- Knowledge of network fundamentals, TCP/IP, VLANs, and basic firewall configuration.
- Understanding of endpoint security solutions, antivirus management, and best practices for data backup.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including shift work and occasional weekend coverage.
- Preferred residence in Bogor, Bekasi, East Jakarta, or North Jakarta for easier on‑site support.
- Positive attitude, strong problem‑solving mindset, and a collaborative team spirit.
