Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Penata Anestesi Klinis Tingkat Lanjut to join our multidisciplinary team in providing safe, effective, and compassionate anesthesia care. This senior clinical anesthesia technician plays a critical role in supporting surgeons, anesthesiologists, and patients throughout pre‑operative, intra‑operative, and post‑operative phases. Responsibilities
- Prepare, test, and maintain anesthesia machines, monitoring devices, and all related equipment according to hospital protocols.
- Conduct thorough pre‑operative assessments, verifying patient history, allergies, and medication lists to ensure optimal anesthesia planning.
- Assist anesthesiologists in the induction, maintenance, and emergence of anesthesia, monitoring vital signs, airway status, and depth of anesthesia throughout surgery.
- Document all anesthesia procedures accurately, including drug administration, dosage calculations, and any intra‑operative events.
- Provide post‑operative care in the recovery area, monitoring patients for complications, managing pain, and ensuring a smooth transition to ward staff.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other allied health professionals to coordinate patient care and improve surgical outcomes.
- Participate in emergency response teams, applying advanced airway management and resuscitation techniques when needed.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of anesthesia best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory standards through continuous education and professional development.
- Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for anesthesia services.
- Educate junior staff and students on anesthesia equipment handling, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3 or D4 in Penata Anestesi (Clinical Anesthesia Technician).
- Active STR (Surat Tanda Registrasi) and willingness to obtain SIP (Surat Izin Praktik) if not already held.
- At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in a hospital or surgical center is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical ability to assess patient status and make rapid, evidence‑based decisions.
- Physical and mental health that supports demanding shift work and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a proactive attitude toward problem solving and quality improvement.
- Proficiency in Indonesian language; English proficiency is a plus for reading scientific literature.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00–17:00, with occasional on‑call duties.
